Building on Vermont’s program, Burlington expanded its One Touch efforts to include Fletcher Allen hospital, elder support services, and local social services. One Touch enabled the City’s lead poisoning prevention program to work with its local weatherization program to provide integrated and comprehensive repair services to help reduce asthma attacks, improve the health of families, and lower energy bills.
Program coordinator Laureen Pyatt explains, “One Touch really helped us forge partnerships with organizations that we had tried to work with in the past. The process, tools and software provided by One Touch are amazing. We are doing business in a new way, and it’s better for our clients”.
